Behav-N-Dogs Mission

Behav-N-Dogs Mission

Behav-N-Dogs mission is to deliver exceptional pet care services, including evidence-based positive reinforcement training and behavior modification, as well as, personalized pet sitting, and dog walking. This is aimed at empowering dog owners, within the community, to develop a deeper understanding of canine behavior, helping to lower rehoming rates, lowering behavior related euthanasia rates, and fostering well-adjusted dogs who have a loving bond with their owners. As Behav-N-Dogs founder Rachael says, "I love all animals and am passionate about helping their owners build happy and harmonious relationships with their pets."

Rachael Haddan's profound dedication to canine welfare was ignited at a young age. At 11, she faced a significant challenge with her first dog, Lanora, a Black and Tan Coonhound mix who displayed severe fear and food aggression. This experience spurred Rachael to deeply understand dog behavior, aggression, and effective training methodologies. Through intensive study and practical application, Rachael not only transformed Lanora into a well-behaved companion—earning numerous obedience awards and demonstrating remarkable gentleness—but also discovered her true calling in dog behavior modification and training.
